Issue Notes

The host who introduces most of the stories in this magazine is a character named Morgue'n, who also appeared in Eerie Tales (Hastings Associates, 1959 series) #1 (November 1959), where he calls himself "your Morgue Keeper." The contents of Eerie Tales #1 may be from the planned, but never released, second issue of Weird Mysteries. Harry Mendryk postulates that Joe Simon may have edited this title:

The art credits for unsigned stories were reviewed for Alter Ego by Michael T. Gilbert, Hames Ware, Jim Vadeboncoeur, Jr., and Dr. Michael J. Vassallo and corrected or added here with permission.
