Art submitted on September 23, 1948. Synopsis by Michael Barrier from "Carl Barks and the Art of the Comic Book" (M. Lilien, 1982).
The unofficial title "Rival Beachcombers" was coined by early indexers of Carl Barks comics, but it was finally used officially when this story was reprinted in Walt Disney's Comics and Stories (Boom! Studios, 2009 Series) #716 (February 2011).
