There was a signed (by Jack Slattery) and numbered edition of 1,000 copies of issue #1. That edition also include a black and white print, measuring 6.25 inches by 9.25 inches, drawn by Mike Wieringo.

Synopsis
Kristina goes to see her grandfather Peter and brings her father's diary with her. Peter is trying to experiment with bringing people back to life in order to be reunited with his wife Sarah. He uses the Egyptian Scroll of Resurrection found inside an 8000-year-old mummy that was sent to him by his son/Kristina's father, Jonathan. As the issue ends the mummy comes back to life.
Joshua O'Brady is waiting for his ex-wife, Martha, at a train station. Suddenly he spots her corpse on the floor, and he turns into a werewolf. He follows the scent of her killer, who has been terrorizing the town of Whaletown, Washington. He follows the killer's scent to a country church. Inside the demon transforms itself into the priest, while an alter boy sweeps up bones of a previous victim.
