Synopsis
The Torch returns to his creator's home ten years after he last saw him only to learn the man has passed away. He recalls his early days when Dr. Horton was bedridden by a gangster's bullet because two thugs wanted to use him as an arson agent in a protection scheme.

Indexer Notes

Per Dr. Michael J. Vassallo on the Timely-Atlas list, 2012-07-19, this is not Mike Sekowsky as previously indexed. The art reminds him of Bill LaCava in many places, with some hint of Bill Walton in a few panels, but he is too unsure to identify this.
