- Synopsis
- After deciding to go straight Nighthawk comes to the Defenders for assistance in helping stop the Squadron Sinister from destroying the planet for Nebulon. Then, the Defenders stop the Squadron Sinister and Nebulon from destroying the Earth.

- Synopsis
- Hulk is leaping over Florida when he is accidentally struck by a missile causing him to crash land in the swamp. Finding a cabin, Hulk destroys some barrels of radioactive waste which creates a muck monster soon to be known as the Glob. The army is in the marsh hunting the Hulk when the Glob captures Betty, thinking she is the woman he loved back in the days when he was a human. The Hulk and the Glob battle but the muck monster ends up giving his life in helping the Hulk save Betty from anti-radioactive goop that Ross has poured into the swamp in order to kill both the Glob and the Hulk.

- Synopsis
- When Ka-Zar goes in search of missing women and men from a local village, he finds the woman, Iranda and the Lizard Men. She takes him to her castle where he sees one of the missing women. When he tries to rescue her, the Lizard Men attack him. He is barely able to escape but when he does, he takes Iranda's crown with him. With her crown gone, at moonrise her enchantment wears off and she becomes a Lizard being. After she dies, her enchantments fade and the Lizard Men turn back into the missing warriors from the village.
