  • Part reprint from "Santa Claus Funnies" (Dell, 1942 series) #1, but several sequences of this version are not contained in the original version of the story, while some sequences of the original story are not reprinted here. The art in question does none the less all look a lot like the work of Walt Kelly. Research is needed as to what lies behind this.
