Synopsis
The Doctor explains Autek's plan to create a crystal now to be harvest in the future in order to power a highly-destructive sonic cannon. The Doctor then tracks down their foes in the TARDIS and destroys the Meddler's TARDIS by materializing in the same location a millisecond before it can. The Time Meddler and his TARDIS are projected into another dimension and the Ice Warriors' ship is destroyed. After the Doctor leaves to return Gus to his home, one of the SAG 3 troops reveals that his clairvoyance has predicted Gus's death.

Synopsis
The Doctor refuses Dogbolter's offer to buy the TARDIS just before he and Gus escape. Dogbolter then hires the Moderator to track down the TARDIS. He succeeds just as the Doctor returns Gus to his home world and native time. Gus dies in the ensuing shootout, and the Doctor drops the wounded Moderator off in a hospital.
