Listen to this, Pluto!
Genre
humor; anthropomorphic-funny animals
Characters
Mickey Mouse; Minnie Mouse; Pluto; pesky fly; Officer O'Rourke; two counterfeiters; two police officers
Synopsis
In pursuit of a pesky fly, Pluto blunders into a spooky old house serving as the hideout for a pair of counterfeiters.
Keywords
counterfeiters; dog; fly; fright; haunted house; unlikely hero

Indexer Notes

Pages consist of 1-4 panels each.

The spooky old house looks remarkably like the Norman Bates house from Alfred Hitchcock's "Psycho" (especially so in the illustration on story-page 12), though this comic was published in 1950, and "Psycho" would not premiere for another ten years.

Great Sequence: For 14 straight panels, Mickey drones on about counterfeiters possibly making their headquarters in the neighborhood and suspecting his new neighbors, completely unaware that Pluto is engaged in a lively slapstick chase with a pesky fly.
