Indexer Notes

This series takes place in both World War II and the present. Slow-Motion Jones appears in both time periods in this issue.

A reference is made on page 17 to "Davey Dean". Although Timely Comics did introduce a character named Dave Dean in Mystic Comics [Marvel, 1940 series] #1, it appears as though the writer intended to refer to Davey Drew.

¤ American Ace last appeared in Marvel Mystery Comics [Marvel, 1939 series] #3 (January 1940). He was mentioned in issue #2 of this series.
¤ Dave Dean last appeared in Mystic Comics [Marvel, 1940 series] #1 (March 1940).
¤ The Fin's final Golden Age appearance was in Comedy Comics [Marvel, 1942 series] #9 (April 1942), he last appeared in The Twelve [Marvel, 2008 series] #1 (March 2008). He was mentioned in issue #2 of this series.
