The building is being carved up and the gold dropped into a deep sea chasm to take it out of play. Spider-Man helps Agent Anderson foil a plot by the Kingpin to steal a load of the gold for himself. Peter, however, has taken a solid gold notebook he found in the trash home with him and tries to figure out what to do with it.

Indexer Notes

Secret Wars II Crossover; Cont from Web of Spider-Man (Marvel, 1985 series) #6; Story takes place between Secret Wars (Marvel, 1985 series) #2 and 3; One of the soldiers directing the cleanup of the golden building is simply referred to as "Sergeant" in the story but is pretty clearly intended to be Duke of the G.I. Joe team.
