This one-shot comic is the newsstand version of Savage Dragon (Image, 1993 series) #30, which was part two of a story that began in Spawn (Image, 1992 series) #52. Savage Dragon did not have newsstand distribution, but Spawn did, so this one-shot was created so that newsstand readers would have an opportunity to buy the second half of the Spawn-Savage Dragon crossover story.
