Synopsis
Two men, one good and the other evil, contend across seven centuries by means of a youth elixir created by Roger Bacon. On his death bed, Bacon imparted a vast store of secret knowledge (including the fact that the world is round, observations on the heavens, and atomic power) to Allyn Kent. Upon the death of Giles Murdock and the spilling of the chemical needed to produce the elixir, Kent settles to reach his natural end.
