- John Stewart is named new Green Lantern by the Guardians of the Universe and he must stop Major Disaster from destroying a dam. Hal Jordan visits Abin Sur's grave and recalls how he first received the power ring. He later learns Stewart's secret identity, and Bruce Gordon has a premonition about Eclipso.
