- Synopsis
- The Heart of Thorns (an immensely powerful supernatural relic) is excavated in an archeological dig in Egypt by agents for Alexander Santili, who seeks to use the Heart of Thorns to achieve his own wicked ends. A week later we find Hellina in Chicago, waking Perg to help her cope with her memories of killing Michael. When Perg senses Santili's evil within the city, Hellina and Perg go to fight him.
