Police Captain Goodman appears (see Georgie Comics #1), but no longer resembles Martin Goodman; he sends two officers to a house on "Solomon Street", an allusion to business manager Robbie Solomon. Georgie, Monty and Judy belong to a "ghost club" whose members dress up in white sheets and hoods that (to the modern eye) resemble those of the Ku Klux Klan.
