- Synopsis
- Elmer's uncle, Fignewton Fudd, has invented a sound trap that will capture sound in a jug. Later Elmer tries his uncle's time machine and Daffy tags along as they go back to England at the time of Hadrian's Wall. There, they uncover a plot by barbarians to foul a new Roman system of communication along the guard towers of Hadrian’s Wall.

There are five references to “1968” in the original version of “The Bottled Blabber” (Boys and Girls March of Comics Western, 1946 Series #313 1968), with two in the same dialogue balloon. For this 1975 reprint version, none of the references are updated to reflect the new year of publication. For the reprint version appearing in Golden Comics Digest (Western, 1969 Series) #39 September 1974. FOUR of the five references are updated to “1974”, with one left unchanged.
