- Though the Legion has almost fully re-formed in the future, Starman and Tellus remain in the present, where Starman begs Tellus to help him fulfill R. J. Brande's final request so he can be reunited with his one true love, Dream Girl.

- Synopsis
- A voice comments on events throughout the issue. Lightning Lad has brought Superman back to the 21st century Fortress. Batman arrives, and after mentioning he has met three different Legions, he tells Superman that he has found two bodies in Gotham, those of be Una and Karate Kid. Their flight ring alarms go off; Starman has signaled. He warns Superman in a cryptic fashion about what is going to happen. Back in the Fortress, the bodies are loaded into a time bubble. Lightning Lad gives Superman a new flight ring before taking off. The unseen narrator is revealed as the Time Trapper.

There are many homages to the first story of the Earth 1 Mon-El (from Superboy #89) in this story (particulary images on page 8). There is even a nod to post-crisis Valor (this Daxam circles the sun Valor).
