Story takes place between Conan the Barbarian (Marvel 1970, series) #'s 44 & 45. Story was originally presented in Savage Tales (Marvel, 1971 series) #5 in black & white.

Page count reduced by 1 page from original Savage Tales #5 story by combining parts of page 9 and 10, resizing panels and redrawing characters in one of the panels.
