Uncle Scrooge; Donald Duck; Huey, Dewey and Louie; Beagle Boys
When the Beagle Boys erect a building next to Scrooge's money bin, with plans to puncture the bin and drain out the money, Scrooge secretly transfers his money to an old reservoir, where he hides it underwater. Learning of this stratagem, the Beagle Boys try to destroy a dam so that Scrooge's money will flow onto their land.
Uncle Scrooge; Donald Duck; Huey, Dewey and Louie; Glittering Goldie (intro); Blackjack (bear, intro)
Scrooge takes pills to restore his failing memory, and immediately recalls the location of bag of nuggets he cached in the Yukon fifty years before. When the ducks arrive in the Klondike, they find that Scrooge's claim has been taken over by Glittering Goldie, a former dance hall girl Scrooge knew in the gold rush days--and who still owes Scrooge a thousand dollars, plus interest.
Uncle Scrooge; Chisel McSue; Swindle McSue (flashback); Captain Seafoam McDuck (flashback); Donald Duck; Huey, Dewey and Louie
Scrooge is faced with the loss of his entire fortune to Chisel McSue because, many years before, an ancestor of Scrooge's failed to deliver a case of horseradish to Jamaica, and then failed to give all his property to McSue's ancestor, as provided in a contract. Scrooge can save his fortune only by fulfilling the terms of the original contract, and the ducks set out in a small sailing ship to find the horseradish, which was on a ship that sank in the Caribbean.
Beagle Boys; Donald Duck; Huey, Dewey and Louie; Uncle Scrooge
Scrooge has his money canned before shipping it to a Hawaiian island he has bought, but the Beagle Boys have infiltrated the canning operation and have bought the ship Scrooge uses. They make the ducks their prisoners on the island, which is now populated only by one old Hawaiian Opu Nui (Big Tummy) and the menehunes--the tiny ones.
Scrooge buys up all the 1916 quarters ever minted and sinks all but one deep in the Atlantic, with the aim of making that one coin the most valuable in the world. But the last quarter is flattened by a steamroller and so Scrooge must dive into the Atlantic to get another. There, the ducks find Atlantis, a sunken city populated by fish-men who breathe under water.
