In Borovia, Snake-Eyes attempts to complete his mission, but fails due to the interference by Major Bludd (sent to kill Snake-Eyes by the Jugglers), as well as the rebel, Metz, killing Strawhacker. Metz is almost killed by the crowd inside one of the gulags, but Snake-eyes saves him, and now Metz is Magda's enemy, as Snake-Eyes leaves towards home with an orphan girl in tow. Storm Shadow and Stalker escape from their captivity in the Statue of Liberty's torch, but are now outlaws no thanks to the Jugglers, and their corrupt actions.
