- Irene believes she has perfected the technique to make men chase after her and she is just waiting for Mr. Right to come along. But one day when she rushes to catch her bus, then almost forgets her stop, it appears to the man she follows that she is chasing him and he confronts her. When they accidentally run into each other on their lunch break, he tells her to get lost. Indignant at the thought that she would need to chase a man, she starts following him on purpose to annoy him.

- Linda has given Tom her savings to help him launch his photographic studio, but business doesn't work out as well as he hoped. Linda sells her lucky locket that had been in the family for generations to get him some extra money for advertising. But the locket had always brought happiness and she wonders if she will lose her happiness after selling the locket.

- Bob and Doreen meet on a coach tour. Doreen's friend had come down with the chicken pox and Bob's fiancee couldn't make it because her firm postponed her holiday. So Bob and Doreen enjoy their time together with no strings attached. When the holiday is over and she sees Bob leaving with lovely Carol, Doreen thinks all she will have left are her memories. She goes to a news theatre as she often did when down in the dumps. Then a handwritten message came up on the screen asking her to meet Bob at the exit after the show.

- Doreen's dad sells everything to leave their wealthy life to live in a caravan despite his wife's objections. Doreen's boyfriend, Claude, is aghast at the idea and asks Doreen to marry him, but she tells him it is over between them and gives him a proper kiss, something she had longed to do. When the family arrives, they are shocked to see the run-down condition of their new home.
