Issue Notes

Per information from the NY Superior Court hearing, December 1941, Ace art director, Fred Gardener, stated that Pat Lamar's studio provided all of the artwork for this issue, as well as 20 pages of script, and lettering and new logos. Lamar's studio did not provide coloring. Lamar's bill was dated 6 June 1940. Lamar stated that his only artwork for Ace were corrections requested by the art director.

The on-sale date is from the publication date recorded in the Catalog of Copyright Entries, Part 2, Periodicals, 1940, New Series, Vol. 35, No. 3.
