Synopsis
Maria Mendoza has a comfortable life, but tries to fight the vicious landlord Guitez. Her father, Steve Roper, and many others are killed. Guitez uses ancient runes to gather demonic power, then sets forth to Los Angeles to find the remaining runes. Ancient forces give Maria the staff of Manco Capac, giving her godlike power. She destroys Guitez, then sets about making a new life for herself in California.
