Synopsis
The mysterious Prowler is the prime suspect of a murder. Spider-Man tracks down Hobie Brown, the man he knows is secretly the Prowler. Synopsis
Spider-Man has come to the conclusion that Madame Belladonna is actually fashion queen Desiree Vaughn-Pope, and that she intends to eliminate fishy businessman Roderick Kingsley. Spider-Man confronts Desiree's sister Narda, secretly the real Belladonna, who tries to lure both Spider-Man and Kingsley into a deadly trap. Her plan fails and Spider-Man appears just in time to stop the disgruntled Prowler II from exacting revenge on his former employer.

Synopsis
Peter attends a party at Harry's place. Harry gets a delivery and runs off after opening it. Peter tracks him down and discovers that Harry is being blackmailed by the Hobgoblin. Peter goes with Harry to the blackmail meeting where he discovers Kingpin. There is a whole room of prominent businessmen who are being squeezed by Hobgoblin, including J. Jonah Jameson. Hobgoblin arrives to make his demands and is confronted by Spider-Man. Spidey is hit by a new and improved goblin gas that knocks him down and robs him of his spider sense. The Kingpin steps in to lend a hand.

Synopsis
Spidey has been robbed of his spider sense and rescued the Kingpin. With Harry and Jonah still under the threat of blackmail by the Hobgoblin, Spidey contacts all of the businessmen who are being squeezed as he tries to get a line on who and where Hobby is. Peter finally decides to use his old mechanical spider tracer receiver and is able to find the Hobgoblin's location. Spidey battles Hobgoblin it tough. Norman Osborn's Goblin journals are burned up and Hobgoblin is furious and blows up the building.

Synopsis
Hobgoblin has blown up Green Goblin's lair and escaped in his battle van. Spider-Man makes his way into the van. It crashes into the river and explodes as Spider-Man escapes. Spidey tries to save Hobgoblin but is only able to find his mask. Spider-Man arrives at the Bugle and discovers that JJJ has already printed his crime (the creation of the Scorpion). Jonah has turned the reins over to Robbie and will solely function as the Bugle's publisher. Spidey swings into Central Park to find a giant alien complex that he feels compelled to enter. He is off to the Secret Wars.
