Synopsis
Aquaman is alerted that an alien starfish has landed on Earth, enlarged to giant-size three Terran starfish, and sent them off to help him conquer the world. Aquaman alerts the JLA, and they break up to take on the three starfish -- Green Lantern handling one, J'onn J'onzz and Wonder Woman handling the second, and Flash tackling the last. Flash finds that his starfish has taken control of the people of Happy Harbor, except for Snapper Carr. He deduces that it is the lime covering Snapper which makes him immune. Knowing the way to defeat their enemy, the heroes regroup to defeat Starro.

Synopsis
The Crime Syndicate is so bored of life on their Earth as supreme villains, designated as Earth-3, that they come to the JLA's Earth for a new challenge after Ultraman accidentally discovers it when exposed to Green Kryptonite (which gives him a new power with every exposure to it). Just as it looks like the JLA has the upper hand, the Crime Syndicate teleports them to Earth-3, where they have the advantage. To secure a level battlefield the Crime Syndicate plans to go to the Earth-2 and eliminate the JSA.

Synopsis
The JSA is tricked into being transported to an interdimensional prison by the Crime Syndicate (using the same word 'Volthoom' that captured the JLA last issue), so the JLA must battle the Crime Syndicate on Earth-2. The JLA then gets the Syndicate to over-exert themselves, imprisons them between the dimensions, and later frees the JSA from their dimensional trap set by the Syndicate to destroy the earths should they have lost vs. both teams.

Synopsis
As Firestorm sits bored during monitor duty, the satellite is invaded by the Martian Manhunter, who is after an Appellax meteor. After he is easily defeated by the Manhunter, Firestorm calls in the other members of the League. The gathered heroes quickly realize that none of the founding members answered the alert and Green Arrow figures out why: they are gathering up the seven meteors from Appellax from the JLA's first case. The new members then split up, each determined to stop one of the founding members.

Synopsis
Following the destruction of the JLA satellite, Aquaman calls for the Justice League to disband in order for the United Nations to charter a new, full-time League. Most of the members of the team leave, but a few stay and are joined by new members: Vixen, Steel and Vibe. The team relocates to the Bunker in Detroit which was built on orders of General Hank Heywood, Steel's grandfather.

Synopsis
At various points around the world, the League and their allies battle Neoanderthals who are working for Vandal Savage and are disrupting natural forces. J'onn is forced to destroy the Moon to stop the threat. Before Savage can launch the next phase of his plan, he is attacked by Luthor and the Legion of Doom. J'onn determines that a new threat, the Totality, is approaching Earth.
