Synopsis

The Joes secure the Commander atop a desolate mountain location, but Cobra arrives to rescue him led by Storm Shadow. The Commander escapes, but Storm Shadow is captured, as we see the other Cobra hierarchy with new members Firefly and Wild Weasel contacting their new ally Zartan in Florida's swampland.

Synopsis

The assault on Springfield concludes with the Joes taking the city, and rescuing Ripcord, but not before all the Cobras head off for Cobra Island as Serpentor leads a distracting counterattack. Storm Shadow miraculously returns to life after using an old ninja trick to save him from the Baroness's fatal shots earlier; while with the Dreadnoks and Zartan's sister Zarana he returns with memories that were used to create Serpentor last issue. Hawk has to face the music as all Cobra evidence in Springfield has been destroyed.

Synopsis

As Torpedo's team travels through the mountains insurgents follow, resulting in several firefights. As the Tomahawk arrives to pick up the Joes, a sniper fires at Alpine, but Dr. Burkhart shields him. Alpine carries her to the helicopter but the sniper shoots her again. Long Range kills the sniper and the Tomahawk departs, Alpine mourning Burkhart's death. In Springfield, the Crimson Guardsmen host a 'class reunion' and Cobra Commander promises the assembled class they will be a part of his new world order.
