Synopsis
Peter is at a club trying forget Mary Jane when he meets ESU student, Sarah Rushman, who is a big fan. On the way home, he witnesses a murder and gives chase to the killer, the former X-Man, Marrow. Peter dates Sarah and finds SHIELD agents in her apartment when he brings her home. He tries to save her but Sarah unexpectedly turns into Marrow and attacks. Sharon Carter explains that Marrow has been used by SHIELD to track down and kill rogue LMDs and they implanted her with the Sarah persona to try and give her a normal life. Marrow leaps to her "death" rather than be returned to SHIELD.

Indexer Notes

Marrow last appeared in Uncanny X-Men, the (Marvel, 1981 series) #380 and her absence from the team was never explained. According to this story, she was found in the sewers by SHIELD and was back to her original ugly, bony state (she was turned prettier in X-Men (Marvel, 1991 series) #90). Marrow also never had the ability to transform her appearance to look like a normal human as she does in this story.
