Continues in The Dragonrok Saga (Hanthercraft Publications, 1993 series) #1 (1993)

The easiest way to follow the early Tandra is via the individually numbered strips, as the first six issues were only designated with a publication sequence of numbers preceded by C-. This continued the numbering from Critter (Hanthercraft Publications, 1973 series), which was predominantly a newspaper strip reprint publication with a very limited circulation. The first Tandra strips ran there as single tiers. The C- numbering sequence incorporates reprints, so doesn’t entirely follow the chronological publication of the strip. The first numbered issue, 6, is actually the seventh segment of the story, as by the time of its publication the original second and third segments had been merged into a single volume. To confuse matters further, that volume was published by Southstar Publications, not Hanthercraft, as was issue 7 (and another reprint). The strip numbering is included in parentheses after the non-numbered issues, and continues into Dragonrok, and from there into web-only strips. Book 9 was released in three parts.
