- Synopsis
- Voodoo arrives in her home town of New Orleans. Carrefour gets her a job at Mr. Charles' club when Angel does not show up to work. Voodoo meets fellow dancer Purity and goes to her rooming house. Detective Dove is at the rooming house investigating the recently murdered Angel. Voodoo goes looking for a place to stay at, and Papa takes her to the Royal where she meets the proprietor Freda and blind drunk Saturday. She settles in, and as she sleeps the three residents decides she is the one to stop the killings as Mr. Charles kills crystal.

- Synopsis
- Voodoo starts working as a dancer at a lounge run by Christian Charles, where several dancers have disappeared or turned up dead. Detective Chaney's investigation makes Charles uncomfortable, and he calls on an evil entity called Carrefour to kill Chaney. Meanwhile, forces opposed to Carrefour seem to be preparing Voodoo, without her knowledge, to be their pawn in the looming confrontation with Charles and Carrefour.
