Synopsis

Jeff Smax, a detective with the Top 10 precinct, is reluctantly paying a visit to his home world in a parallel dimension, and he's asked his partner, Toybox, to tag along. She's shocked to discover that her blue-skinned partner isn't from an alien world full of metahuman barbarians like him, but from a world that's every magical storybook come to life. Smax seems more than a little embarrassed about his heritage, but that's nowhere nearly as embarrassing as Toybox's experience when he finally gets around to introducing her to his family.

Synopsis

Jeff reluctantly explains that he pretends Robin is his wife so as to avoid marrying his sister. In flashback he tells how he killed their ogre father, and how he became a dragonslayer until utterly defeated by Morningbright, after which he left his world and eventually joined Top 10. Robin realizes that a cryptic message from Morningbright, spoken many years before, is for her.

Synopsis

Robyn's weapon fuses the elements powering Morningbright, killing him and freeing the spirits of the devoured children. Naruli thanks Jeff for her freedom, and the freedom of the others. Robyn convinces Rexa and Jeff that they can live as a married couple of earth, without anyone but her ever knowing that they're twins.
