Darkseid plots to destroy the concept of super-hero legends. Crosses-over with many DC titles. (Cross-overs give sequence numbers on covers). New Justice League (DC, 1987 series), Suicide Squad (DC, 1987 series), and Flash (DC, 1987 series) comics spun off. Shazam! The New Beginning (DC, 1987 series) miniseries takes place shortly before the events in Legends #1. Wonder Woman's appearance coincides with events concurrently happening in her new series (DC, 1987 series) at the time.
