- Synopsis
- Homeless kid Billy Batson follows a cloaked figure he believes is his father into a closed subway station. A train pulls up and takes Billy to meet the old wizard Shazam, who gives him the power to become Captain Marvel. After a trip to the Rock of Eternity for instructions from the old wizard, Billy and Captain Marvel return to Earth and encounter alligator men, who point to the first signs of the arrival of Mr. Mind, giant footprints in in the middle of the town's park.

- Synopsis
- Billy checks the circus to see if the alligators in the Monster Society are connected to the alligator men he met. Meanwhile, Dr. Sivana vows to get to the bottom of the mysterious footprints. At the circus, Billy saves his sister from the alligator men with the help of his new friend Talky Tawny, just as a giant humanoid appears at the site of the footprints. It announces itself as Mr. Mind and declares that when two companions join him, they will destroy the human race. When the first companion appears, Billy changes to Captain Marvel, but Mary is also hit by the lightning and given powers.

- Synopsis
- After Mary determines that the giant humanoids are robots, she and Captain Marvel flee from governmental forces. But attorney general Sivana tracks down Billy and Mary and forces Billy to help him investigate the giant robots. After escaping Sivana, Billy goes to the media to get help exposing him, but finds he has better luck as Captain Marvel. Meanwhile, Talky does some investigating of his own and discovers that Mary is now inside one of the giant robots.

- Synopsis
- Sivana drags Mary to the top of the giant robot, just as the third and deadliest robot appears. Mr. Mind orders Sivana to strap Mary to the controls and throw himself off, but Sivana refuses and tosses Mary off instead. Billy, having reached the top of the second giant robot, changes to a giant Captain Marvel, saves Mary, and drives Mr. Mind and his robots through a black hole back to Eternity.
