- Synopsis
- While some of the more senior members of the JSA consider the membership of the group, Black Adam rescues Isis from Felix Faust. Together, Black Adam and Isis confront Shazam and take his power. Later, when Billy awakens powerless in Fawcett City, he summons the JSA. Meanwhile, Black Adam and Isis recruit an ally.

- Synopsis
- Billy Batson takes the JSA into the subway to find the secret entrance to the Rock of Eternity. With the help of Green Lantern's magic ring, they reach their destination but face an enraged Isis. Isis hurls Billy off the Rock, but Flash leaps into the void, grabs Billy, and tosses him back. While getting Billy to the safety of the throne room, Billy and Stargirl are met by the still-evil Mary Marvel. Elsewhere, traveling across the dimensions off of the Rock of Eternity, Flash encounters someone who may be able to help both Mary and Billy...their father.

- Synopsis
- Mary Marvel transfers some of her power to her brother, while the fight between Isis and Black Adam against the JSA moves to Kahndaq. After Billy and Mary join the fight, Flash and the spirit of C. C. Batson arrive with the spirit of Shazam. Atom-Smasher convinces Black Adam that Isis is out of control, and the villain transfers his power back to the wizard. Shazam removes the black power from Mary, Billy and Isis, and turns Theo Adam and Adrianna Tomaz into statues. Later, as the JSA welcomes back Atom-Smasher into their ranks, a mysterious figure arrives in Kahndaq with a bolt of lightning.

- Synopsis
- Obsidian senses a dangerous presence outside the JSA brownstone and cloaks the building in a shield, trapping Wildcat, Green Lantern, Flash, and Liberty Belle inside. When Stargirl tries to warm a man who has collapsed outside, something enters her body. Under its control, Stargirl blasts her way into headquarters. The spirit reveals itself as that of the World War II villain Kung and transports the four trapped JSAers and Hourman to Hiroshima just before the US dropped the atomic bomb. While the remaining JSAers try to figure out what happened to their colleagues, the Spectre appears.

- The Spectre takes Atom-Smasher, Power Girl, Judomaster, and Damage to help the JSAers taken by Kung. Spectre separates the angry souls working with Kung from him, and while the JSAers contain those souls, the Spectre seemingly sends Kung to his fate. But the Spectre returns to the JSA brownstone to put an end to the last of Kung's plans.
