Reprints some of the "Legend of Kamui" stories co-published by Eclipse Comics and Viz in periodical form. Originally serialized in the 1980s as Kamui Gaiden (カムイ外伝) in Shogakukan's Big Comic magazine. This is not the 1960s version from Garo magazine.

Ryan Holmberg revealed in a 11/24/21 TCJ article that this series was actually drawn by Shirato's brother Tetsuji, uncredited.
The story contents of these books were republished in 1998 as The Legend of Kamui: Perfect Collection.
