Art credit info from Tim Barnes, November 2007. This book is generally listed as coming out in 1946. There is no date on the book. Based on contents and similar Baily titles, it more likely came out in early 1945.

Jerry Bails’ Who’s Who lists some of the comic book’s artists, Howie Post and Munson Paddock, as only having done work for Baily Publications in 1945, indicating further that 1945 is the probable year of this comic book's publishing.

Synopsis
Two crooks rob a store, shoot a policeman and hide out in a cemetery to hide their stolen funds, when suddenly Mr. Lucifer appears, being freed by the crook's actions. Lucifer then frees his evil minions and together all go forth to commit dastardly deeds. By a quirk of fate, Lucifer and his followers trap themselves in a grave of cement.

Synopsis
A medical journal writer visits a mental hospital. He interviews a patient, who says he was turned into a "living corpse" by Dr. Paul Barer. Paul Barer used his victim as a stage performer and also ordered him to abduct celebrities who were then put into a trance and displayed in a wax museum. The "journalist" is revealed to be Dr. Paul Bearer.

Original art credit to "Robert Baldwin," however Paddock is identified on the note card attached to the scanned copy online (http://comicbookplus.com/?dlid=28363) and if you look at the signed ("MP") cover of SLAPSTICK COMICS vol. 1 no. 1 (as well as other credited Paddock work), this clearly seems to be work of Munson Paddock.
