Synopsis
When she gets a call from the police Lovebunny leaves the Superhero Megacon where heroes and aspiring heroes are applying for membership in The Protectors. At a St. Paul home, with the help of police officers John and Leonard, she defeats a demon who is trying to open a portal to Earth from his dimension. All the demons are sucked back into the portal before it closes, except for a squid-line creature who speaks only in grunts and whom she dubs Mr. Hell. The creature follows her to her apartment, and they sit down to watch the movie "Watership Down."

Indexer Notes

The Superhero Megacon portion of the issue is on story pages 4-7. The credits page lists "Additional 'con' art by:" for those pages, and names nine creators who contributed to those pages with non-specific credits. Those nine creators are: Pat Gleason; Tom Nguyen; Steve Kurth; Bill Hauser; Clint Hilinski; John Mundt; Will Stachle; Tania Del Rio; Matt Wendt.

Synopsis
Nancy Tolan-Woods is hosting a TV show called "Behind The Masks", with a "Where Are They Now?" theme about heroes of the past. She retells how Caliber Jack's sidekick, Kid Caliber, became the first hero to embrace merchandising, and how she quit after Malachai Dust killed Caliber Jack. Later Kid Caliber changed her name to Lovebunny and joined various hero groups, then tried to live a normal civilian life but flunked out of law school, and eventually moved to St. Paul and teamed up with rookie hero Electric Bill before he became a member of The Protectors.

Synopsis
Lovebunny tells Mr. Hell they have to go help stop a fire. On the way out Mr. Hell is distracted by Mr. Hoppy, Lovebunny's pet rabbit. Mr. Hell swallows Mr. Hoppy whole, then spits him back out when Lovebunny chastises him.
