A tale from the real story of René-Louis Beauregard (1912-1949), a foreman working in a Martinique plantation flees following murder. In 1978, the author François Migeat collected the tale of this story, which became half legendary by its transformations due to the orality of the transmission, and decided to rely on this oral version to build his story: film (1981) and comic (1984) script.
