This is a promotional reprint of All Star Superman (DC, 2006 series) #1. The comic was available at Sears department stores beginning on June 9, 2013. The comic was a free bonus to customers who were members of the Sears Shop-Your-Way club, with any purchase. The comic came sealed in a clear polybag, with a coupon for extra Shop Your Way club bonus points with any purchase of $50 or more between June 16-30, 2013. The comic also promotes the role of Sears as a sponsor of the "Man of Steel" motion picture opening on June 14, 2013.
