- Synopsis
- Henry is bored at his new home in a trailer park until he gets a puppy, but Bouncer is so unmanageable that he's constantly causing trouble. A loner Vietnam veteran teaches Henry the basics of dog training, and slowly shares his experiences as a dog handler in Vietnam, where Sheba again and again saved Lanford and his friends. Even so his best friend was killed, and he was forced to leave Sheba behind as "equipment" when his tour was up. One morning Lanford is gone, leaving a sketch of himself with Sheba, and one of Henry with Bouncer.
