Ramon Schenk Craig, no need to put the article behind the Feature name; we only need to do that for Titles.
I would reject the changes, but the abbreviated Feature name is a good idea.
Best,
Ramon

Craig Delich I have been told by editor after editor: Bob Hughes, Allen Ross and Henry Andrews, for example, that the article needs to come last [such as: "Hourman, The"] in the feature area to make look-ups in the system possible. Now I am confused as to what to do.....if I do it the other way [such as: "The Hourman"], other editors will tell me to change it. What you want to reject, they approve.

You also state that the article need only come last for titles.....WHAT titles? The only one I see in the format is for story titles.....is that what you mean? If so, every story title I've seen has been done wrong.

I've told Henry that each editor is telling data enterers such as myself to do things differently than the other editors tell me. I stressed to him that every editor needs to get on the same page down the line as to what is expected.

Ramon Schenk You are right that things are confusing. The titles I referred to were comic book titles, say "The Super-Hero"; there you have to enter "Super-Hero, The".

I'll get back to you on the Feature stuff. Either those other editors are wrong or I am, I'll check.

Best,
Ramon

Craig Delich Now I understand.....I did see the comments of various editors on GCD-Main and I threw in what I usually did for the feature until someone told me to do it this way.

I went back in this issue and changed the features for the cover, Sandman and Hourman back with the article first.

Of course, all the other Adventures I did and are up for approval were done the other way....send 'em back to me and I'll correct them.
