Synopsis |
Ditko draws this story so that none of the people's faces are shown as the narrator relates the events. An alien craft is depicted over the city and descends. The radio warns people not to panic. A creature walks out of the ship, claims to be peaceful, and people assume it looks monstrous but others correctly realize that its merely wearing a spacesuit. The being removes its headgear and in the last panel it is revealed to be the first human on Mars surrounded by relieved Martians. |
