Table of contents and credits for this issue. Page numbered as if it is part of the story.
Shows the original three members and the Super-Hero Clubhouse circa 2959 A.D., then the new headquarters and the members at the time of 2968 A.D., and then today's Legion of 2978 A.D. The first page is numbered (36) as if it is part of the story (the second part of this double-page spread doesn't have a number, but does count as the next story page is 38).
On the last page, there are two identical word balloons from Superboy (one above his head, one below) with this text: "WILDFIRE... COMING FROM YOU, THAT ALMOST LEAVES ME SPEECHLESS." The letterer didn't notice that he used that text twice, and the editor didn't catch it either.
New origins and powers of all Legionnaires, even deceased, reserves, and the Substitutes. Introduction of a new costume for Element Lad that was never used again.
Page numbered as page 8 of the previous sequence. Details some of the Legion's tools and equipment, including the flight ring, the telepathic plug, transparent space suits, and the Legion cruiser.
Biographies of Paul Levitz, Michael Jon Grell, Vince Colletta, Jack Abel, James Sherman, Gaspar Saladino, and Jerry Serpe. Levitz and Grell signed theirs (and they are first-person); the others were presumably written by Joe Orlando, as he introduces them. Printed on inside back cover. Art credits are from Todd Klein's blog.
