Synopsis

Simon, an engineer on contract in Sri Lanka, has a car accident in England while on leave. Angie is assigned as his nurse and they fall in love. But he has a "no marriage" clause in his contract that still has a year to complete. Angie wants to get engaged, but Simon is against 'doing things by halves'. When he returns to Sri Lanka, Angie applies for nursing jobs there and is eventually accepted. When she arrives in Colombo, she discovers that Simon seems to have a bad reputation there.
