Synopsis
Miriam Katin, a survivor of the Holocaust years, is deeply disturbed by her son's decision to seek Hungarian citizenship, and to take up residence in Berlin. She reluctantly helps with the citizenship process, and visits him Berlin. She slowly begins to let go of some of her abhorrence. When the Jewish Museum in Berlin includes her art in a major exhibition, she returns to Berlin for the opening at her own expense and on her own volition.
