Synopsis
Ann thinks the people in her small town disrespect her because her mother ran away with another man. Dennis, son of the town’s richest man, dates her but she rejects him. When her father falls ill, Ann devotes herself to his care. He dies, but the town now respects Ann for her actions. Even Dennis’s parents think she is a suitable match for their son, so Ann and Dennis reconcile.
