Synopsis
Masseuse Maxine moves in with wealthy client Harriet and becomes her personal assistant. Maxine schemes to steal Harriet’s boyfriend David, then switches her attention to David’s younger brother Brian, who she really loves. Harriet exposes Maxine, who then tells David that Harriet and Brian are having an affair. However, when Harriet nearly dies of an overdose of sleeping pills, David and Brian realize Maxine is no good and she is cast out.

Synopsis
Joseph, a refugee from war-torn Europe, moves in with the Gordons and attends college. Lila Gordon treats Joseph snobbishly, but her female friends feel differently. When Joseph dates Rina, Lila breaks this up by telling Rina she’s engaged to Joseph. Joseph gets a job offer and leaves, and Lila realizes she loves him. A year later, they are reunited when Joseph receives an award and he tells Lila that he loves her too.

Synopsis
Streak takes a job with a motorcycle stunt show, and falls in love with fellow rider Jean. However, his cocky attitude endangers the other performers. Streak ignores a warning and Jean is badly injured as a result. He enlists in the Army to “make up for all that uselessness” and learns teamwork. Streak hopes someday “when the Army no longer needed me, Jean would!”
