This book is made up of remaindered copies of five different St. John books from about 1948. There are two versions known. Version 1 contains Vic Flint (St. John, 1948 Series) #2, Elmo (St. John, 1948 series) #1, Pageant of Comics (St. John, 1947 series) #2, Jim Hardy Comics (St. John, 1948 series) #1, and Comics Revue (St. John, 1947 series) #1. Version 2 contains Vic Flint (St. John, 1948 Series) #2, Jane Arden (St. John, 1948 series) #1, Abbie an' Slats (St. John, 1948 series) #1 (2), Elmo (St. John, 1948 series) #1, and Comics Revue (St. John, 1947 series) #5. Interesting side note: The cover teases stories that were in Crime Reporter (St. John, 1948 series) #3 and Authentic Police Cases (St. John, 1948 series) #6, but no known copies contain either of those books.
