- Synopsis:
- The universe reels as its inhabitants try to deal with half of all life being snuffed out suddenly by Thanos; The Kree and Skrull empires begin another war; Odin calls a council of the gods to fight this cosmic threat; Dr. Strange is confronted by Adam Warlock who asks to lead earth's forces in the coming conflict; Thanos pulls Starfox to his floating citadel of Death for a little family reunion; The Avengers try to determine which heroes are missing and begin to marshal their forces; Dr. Doom arrives in Strange's sanctum looking for answers but is interrupted as Warlock and Pip make a grand enterance; Finding that Death is still not impressed with his efforts, Thanos causes a shockwave to ripple through the universe destroying parts of earth (California finally falls into the ocean) and causing even more trouble for our heroes.
