- Jeweler Norton Cross is brought to Java by the beautiful sorceress Thais. She sends him on a mission to reclaim three jade pieces. Norton kills for her and hopes to marry her. When the collection is complete, Norton learns that these were the fingers of Thais. She is a jade demon and will sacrifice him now.
